Staff of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination had donated a total of 181,290 yuan (US$25,899) by 6pm yesterday to the earthquake victims in Sichuan Province.

More than 600 people, including temporary staff at the Expo Bureau and interns, made donations to assist the quake victims.

Shanghai World Expo Land Holding Co Ltd donated 1 million yuan.
