Shanghai World Expo organizers yesterday launched a fire evacuation drill at a Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination building.

Rescuers of the bureau's Emergency Department evacuated the building within two minutes and put out the fire quickly.

Firefighters from the city's fire station guided the maneuver. They trained some staff and security guards at the bureau after the drill.

Hong Hao, director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, and Xu Weiguo, deputy Party Chief of the bureau, watched the drill.
