

Hua Junduo, China's commissioner general for World Expo 2010, yesterday
afternoon met a delegation led by Rajiv Yadav, executive director of the India
Trade Promotion Organisation. The two sides exchanged views on India's
exhibition at World Expo 2010.
Hua said India is an ancient civilized country that boasts a large number of
cultural heritages. He expressed hope that India pavilion would embody the
country's culture.
Both China and India face some problems in the urbanization process and they
could learn from each other's experience through Expo 2010, Hua said.
Hua noted that the harmony between humanity and nature had become a key issue
worldwide and hoped India could showcase its practice and experience in this
regard.
He said India's achievements in software and education were impressive and
expected more Sino-Indian cooperation in various areas in the future.
Yadav said China and India have many things in common and he believed the two
countries would have closer cooperation in the future. He thanked the bureau for
its help and support of India's exhibition.
