A delegation from Guizhou Province visited the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination today, to talk about the province's exhibition at World Expo 2010 with Zhong Yanqun, fulltime deputy director of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai Executive Committee.

Zhong thanked the province, which signed a national participation contract with organizers on April 17, for its support of the event.

Nine provinces and autonomous regions have signed participation deals with organizers to date, Zhong said.

Meng Qiliang, vice governor of Guizhou, said the provincial government attaches great importance to its involvement in Expo 2010. Guizhou hopes to showcase its beauty and economic development at the event, Meng said.

The delegation also saw the Shanghai Expo blueprint.
